What does it cost?

What do you check?
Two things: that your business is real and registered, from documents a person at KYM reviews, and that you control the domain you trade on, from a DNS record or a small file you add.
What becomes public?
What an agent needs to recognise you: your legal name, registration number, verified domains, your credential's status and expiry, your listing and, once accepted, your logo. The people behind the business, their email addresses and your documents are never made public.
Do I need to change my checkout or payment provider?
No. KYM asks you to adopt no payment provider, chain or protocol, and nothing changes in how your buyers pay.
Does it work on Shopify, WooCommerce or my own site?
Yes. You prove your domain with one DNS record, added wherever your domain is managed, or with a small file on your site. It works whatever your store runs on.
What if someone copies my site?
Your credential is bound to your domain. A copy can clone your pages, logo and company number, but presented from any other host the check fails, so an agent can tell the copy from you.
How will agents find me?
Through the KYM directory of verified merchants, which agents read through KYM's open API. The KYM MCP server, coming soon, lets agents and assistants ask KYM directly from inside their own tools.
Can I leave?
Any time, during the trial or after it. Ask us and we withdraw your credential and close your record. See the Merchant Terms.
Is there an AI model in the check?
No. The check is deterministic: the same domain and the same credential always get the same answer.
